Carlos Tevez will not complete his move to Manchester United today and may not be registered in time for the start of the Premiership season.

West Ham United still hold the Argentina international’s registration and although Tevez has been training with the Premiership champions, the deal has not been completed.

It is now expected that Tevez will miss Manchester United’s Premiership opener against Reading on Sunday.
